1967 - 2018 Mid-Atlantic Quality Assurance Workshop Marks 51 Years.
The Mid-Atlantic Quality Assurance Workshop (QAW) is an annual event held each year since 1967. The workshop includes five breakout sessions devoted to the latest information on highway materials in the areas of asphalt, concrete, metals, maintenance, soils and aggregates.
The states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia make up the Mid-Atlantic QAW. Sponsorship of the Workshop is rotated yearly with Delaware hosting the 2018 meeting. The Quality Assurance Workshop will be February 13-15, 2018 at the Dover Delaware.

Mid Atlantic QAW closed today with over 415 registeredattendees including 55 walk ins and 31 vendors. We believe this was one of the largestworkshops in our 50-year history. The three-day session included over 50technical presentations presented from technical experts for around the region,as well as international experts. At this time, we do not have a location or date for the 2018 workshop. But we expect to have a tentative location and host by the end of April 2017,and we are looking at the first week in February 2018. If you have attending the past few years you will get anemail as soon as a decision on the location and date is firm. If you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com. Registration payments do not include payments for Hotel Rooms. Vendors are reminded that the Vendor Registration includes ONE full three day registration. If your company has more than one person attending please resister them as note above.
Professional Development Hours (PDH)
PDH's will be available for attending the workshop. You will need to fill out an evaluation form indicating the sessions you attended. PDH's will receive your certificate via email in early spring. PDH's have been emailed for attending the 2016 QAW. If you did not get yours, please contact the QAW staff.

The Mid-Atlantic States, Structural Committee for Economic Fabrication (SCEF) and Pre-Stressed Concrete Committee (PCEF) workshops are held in conjunction with this workshop. The SCEF workshop will be held Monday, February 6th, from 1 pm to 5 pm. The PCEF workshop will be held Tuesday, February 7th, from 7:30 am to noon. Both workshops are free and open to anyone interested in highway construction involving metal and concrete materials, including government transportation employees, contractors, producers and suppliers.
